Privacy Policy
PADEO is a padel app for iPhone and Apple Watch developed by Jonatan Scaglia. This policy explains what data the app processes and why.
Using PADEO without an account
PADEO works fully without signing up. In that case your matches, the player names you add and your preferences are stored only on your iPhone and, if paired, on your Apple Watch. Nothing is sent to PADEO servers or to third parties.
Using PADEO with an account
If you choose to sign in with Apple, PADEO creates an account to back up your matches, restore them on another iPhone and share them with your group. To do that we store on our servers:
- The user identifier Apple assigns to PADEO for you, your name and, if you share it, your email address. Apple lets you hide your real email address.
- The matches you finished: settings, points, result and date.
- The names of the players you add to record who you played with. If you add someone else’s name, you are responsible for having their consent.
- An identifier the app generates for each installation, which lets us link your devices to your account.
- The groups you belong to and the results you confirm.
- If you choose one, your profile photo, cropped and resized on your phone before it is sent. Only your friends and the people in your groups can see it. You can remove it at any time, and it is deleted with your account.
- If you add them, your paddles (brand, model, specifications, your rating and an optional photo) and which paddle you used in each match. Your friends and the people in your groups can see them.
- If you allow notifications, an identifier Apple assigns to your device so we can send you alerts (for example, a result to confirm).
Shared results
When you share a result, a public link is created that shows the teams, the names entered and the score of that match. Anyone with the link can see it without installing anything. You can stop sharing it by deleting the match from your account.
What we don’t do
We don’t use your data for advertising and we don’t sell it. We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We don’t use third-party analytics tools.
Health
On Apple Watch you can choose to record the match as a workout. That heart rate and calorie data is managed by Apple’s Health app on your device; PADEO does not send it to its servers.
Where and for how long
Your account data is stored with Railway (Estados Unidos) for as long as the account exists. Connections are encrypted.
Your rights
You can view and correct your name and photo in the app. You can sign out at any time. You can delete your account from Profile, which deletes your data from our servers; matches saved on your devices stay there until you delete them. For any questions, email us at padeo@padeo-support.app.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date on this page and, when the change is significant, let you know in the app.
